Cat Cafe NAP Kyotanabe
Kyotanabe, Kyoto
Cat Cafe NAP is a cat cafe and coworking space in Miyamaki, Kyotanabe, about 20 seconds on foot from JR Doshishamae Station. It opened softly in July 2026 and held its grand opening in August 2026, billing itself as the city's first cat cafe. It describes itself as a study with cats, with weekdays aimed at people working or studying and weekends at families. Its eight cats were born and raised in the owner's home and are mostly Norwegian Forest Cats, along with short-legged Munchkins and other long-haired cats. Visits are by reservation only, in one-hour slots for up to five people. Rates are set per hour, are higher on weekends and holidays, and have lower prices for students and young children. Drinks are included, and children under four enter free. Babies are welcome. Closing days are irregular. Some of the furniture came from the Osaka Expo 2025 reception hall.
