Punahilkan Kissakahvila
Kouvola, Kymenlaakso
Punahilkan Kissakahvila is a cat café on Päätie in Inkeroinen, a village in the city of Kouvola, less than a kilometre on foot from Inkeroinen railway station. It was opened on Valentine's Day 2026 by Hilkka Tiihonen in a space of more than 200 square metres furnished with recycled and vintage pieces. Three young resident cats, Jerry, Kaunotar and Rusina-Unelma, live in the café. Visitors pay a per-person entrance fee that covers 90 minutes with the cats; no booking is needed, though visitors coming from further away can reserve a table by phone, and guests ring the doorbell to be let in. The café serves coffee, tea, homemade cakes and savoury snacks, and sells cat-themed goods. Parents are asked to guide children around the cats. It opens on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
