I Cat You Iksan is a large cat cafe on the third floor of a building next to Lotte Mart in Yeongdeung-dong, Iksan, part of the I Cat You chain that also has cafes in Jeonju and Gunsan. It moved here from its earlier location near the bus terminal. The cafe covers about 120 pyeong and has around 60 cats of various breeds, and there is also a children's playground area. A guide at the entrance explains the house rules and tips for being a cat sitter for a day, and lockers are provided for bags. Entry is charged per person with no time limit, with a lower weekday rate for students and children. It is open every day, from 9 AM at weekends and 10 AM on weekdays, until 9 PM.

Iksan, Jeonbuk

Nyangkkul Nyangkkul is an animal cafe in Yeongdeung-dong, Iksan, on the second floor of the BYC building behind Homeplus and next to Lotte Mart. Its cats were taken in from owners who gave them up or rescued from shelters, and most are friendly lap cats; the cafe also keeps mini pigs and reptiles that visitors can see and feed. The floor is a special sandrock surface that is gentle on the cats' joints but can scratch, so socks are recommended for children. Entry is charged per person with no time limit, with lower rates for students and young children, and children under 24 months enter free with documentation. Only packaged drinks and snacks are sold; takeaway coffee and baby food may be brought in. The Yeongdeung 2-dong public car park is three minutes away. It is closed on Tuesdays.

Iksan, Jeonbuk

Darakbang Momo, whose name means 'attic cat Momo', is one of the longest-running cat cafes in Iksan, operating in Yeongdeung-dong since at least 2016. It is on the third floor of a corner building behind the Nonghyup bank near Lotte Mart, a short walk from the other cat cafes on Gobong-ro 32-gil. The cafe has a cosy, attic-like atmosphere where visitors can spend time with the resident cats. Entry is charged per person and includes one drink. It is closed on Sundays. Compared with the large chain cafes nearby, it is a smaller, quieter place, and information online is limited, so checking by phone before visiting is advisable.
