Catpurrccinos
Huntington, New York
Catpurrccinos is a cat cafe on Main Street in Huntington Village on Long Island's North Shore. It opened in 2019 to support Feral to Family, the animal rescue behind it, and all of its cats are fosters waiting for adoption. A quick-service cafe at the front serves coffee, specialty lattes, tea and lunch. The cattery is entered through a vestibule and is set up like a large living room with chairs, benches, tables and TVs, plus a medical and isolation room and regular visits from a mobile vet. Entry to the cat room is a separate timed fee, and food bought at the counter can be taken in packaged to go. Walk-ins are welcome, but booking is advised on weekends, holidays and school breaks. Guests 13 and under need an adult. Adoptions go through the rescue, with checks and a home visit. Trivia and bingo nights are held.
