Hawai'i Cat Cafe is a rescue cat cafe on Kapahulu Avenue in Honolulu, next to the Texaco gas station on the edge of Waikiki. Opened in 2018 as the first cat cafe in Hawai'i, it has a coffee bar serving locally roasted coffee, teas, matcha, lemonade and fresh pastries, and a separate cat lounge with around 25 adoptable cats and kittens from the Hawaiian Humane Society. The cats roam the lounge freely, also at night. Lounge visits are charged per timed session, drinks and food are bought separately, and walk-ins are welcome, though booking online is recommended because numbers are limited. Children 15 and under must come with an adult. Cats can be adopted during a visit, often on the same day, and the cafe helps visitors to Oahu take a cat home. Private lounge parties are available, and a second branch is at Waikiki Beach Walk.

Hawai'i Cat Cafe Waikiki Beach Walk is the second branch of Hawai'i Cat Cafe, opened in May 2026 on the second floor of Waikiki Beach Walk on Lewers Street, past Ruth's Chris and near Liliha Bakery, with escalators and elevators by the ABC Store and Yard House. Like the original cafe in Kapahulu, it is a cat lounge for adoptable rescue cats and kittens taken in from around Oahu, and every visit supports the cafe's work of finding them homes and reducing euthanasia in local shelters. Visits are charged per 30- or 60-minute session, walk-ins are welcome and sessions can be booked online. The cafe sells drinks, including some flavors unique to Hawai'i, and cat merchandise. Adoptions can be arranged during a visit, and staff help visitors from the mainland take a cat home on the plane. It is open every day until 9pm.

Cat Café MOFF International Market Place is a cat cafe inside the International Market Place shopping center on Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. Opened in September 2023 as the first US branch of Japan's MOFF animal cafe company, it is home to about 20 resident pedigree cats brought over from Japan, including Scottish Folds, Ragdolls, a Himalayan, a Russian Blue, a Minuet and a Maine Coon, each with a Hawaiian name. The cats live at the cafe for life and are not sold or adopted out. Visitors sign a waiver and buy a 30- or 60-minute ticket that includes one drink, and can buy treats to feed the cats. Collar colors show how each cat likes to be handled, and staff explain the rules on entry. Walk-ins are welcome, and this is the only MOFF branch in Hawai'i that also takes advance bookings. Kama'aina and military visitors get a discount.

Visitors sign a waiver, then buy a 30- or 60-minute ticket that includes one drink, chosen from a menu exclusive to this branch with coffee, americano, cappuccino, latte, tea, juice, soda and water. Treats can be bought to feed the cats, and staff explain how to handle them. There are no reservations here; visitors simply walk in. Kama'aina and military visitors get a discount. A second Honolulu branch is at the International Market Place in Waikiki.
