Gyeongsan

Butacat NC Gyeongsan is a branch of the Butacat cat cafe chain on the fifth floor of NC Department Store in Gyeongsan, just east of Daegu. The cafe covers about 260 square metres, and its cats are raised from birth at the company's own care centre, where they are socialised with people before joining a cafe; cats that seem stressed by visitors are kept out of the room. Breeds include Ragdolls, Munchkins, British Shorthairs, Norwegian Forest Cats and Ragamuffins, and many of them come up to visitors on their own. Entry is charged per person with weekday and weekend prices, ten-visit passes are sold, and drinks come from a self-service lounge. There is a hand-washing area, and staff watch over the room and explain safety rules for families with children.

Gyeongsan

Annyeong Goyangi (Hello Cat) is a ground-floor cat cafe in the Useong Building on Gyeongsan-ro in central Gyeongsan, east of Daegu. Most of its cats are sociable and happy to be stroked, so it is popular with families with small children and with people who would like a cat but cannot keep one. The standard ticket covers two hours and includes a drink, and on weekdays there is a cheaper one-hour ticket for elementary and middle school students, with drinks extra. The cafe opens from 1 pm to 8 pm on weekdays and from 11 am to 8 pm on weekends, and it is closed on Thursdays.

Gyeongsan

Cat Lounge is a small cat and dog cafe on the sixth floor of a building on Pentahills-ro in the Pentahills district of Gyeongsan, east of Daegu. It was previously called Puppy Lounge, and today cats and dogs share the space, with visitors coming to spend time with both. A visit lasts 90 minutes. Visitors are asked to phone before coming, as the cafe works on a reservation basis, and pets cannot be brought along. It opens from 1 pm to 7 pm, Wednesday to Sunday, and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
