Nyangi Sidae is a long-running cat cafe on the third floor of the Crystal Building on Jungang-ro 1275beon-gil in Janghang-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang, about five minutes on foot from exit 2 of Jeongbalsan Station, behind Homeplus. It has been open since 2010 and does not sell cats; the resident cats are cared for as family by experienced staff, and the cafe puts weight on hygiene, health care and cats that approach visitors of their own accord. Entry can be bought on its own or as a set with a basic drink, and visitors can buy one churu each as well as chicken treats. Groups and solo visitors are both welcome, and parking is in the building car park. The cafe opens at noon on weekdays and 10 am at weekends and public holidays, and closes at 10 pm.

Goyang, Gyeonggi Do

Cat Hillock (Goyangi Dongsan) is a large rescue cat cafe in the countryside of Wondang-dong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, reached by bus 012 from Wondang Station. Around 100 rescued cats live here together with a family of five dogs, and the cats move freely between indoor rooms and outdoor areas surrounded by green hills. Entry is charged per person and includes one drink, with a lower rate for children from 13 months to 13 years old, who must be accompanied by a guardian. Visitors cannot bring their own dogs. The cafe is a popular weekend outing for families from Ilsan and northern Seoul and closes at 8 pm.

Jipsaui Haru Ilsan is a rescue cat cafe on the second floor of the Aladin used bookstore building on Jungang-ro 1275beon-gil in Janghang-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang. Part of the entry revenue pays for food, vet bills and better living conditions for the abandoned cats who live there, so each visit doubles as a donation. Visitors are asked to let the cats approach at their own pace and not to pick them up or chase them, and children need adult supervision. Entry includes a drink, with a reduced rate for children under 36 months, and chicken and churu treats are sold. Outside food is not allowed. The cafe is open every day, from noon on weekdays and 11 am at weekends, until 10 pm, and the building car park offers two hours free.

Goyang, Gyeonggi Do

Nyangtte Mokjang is a cat cafe on the second floor of the Dreamworld building, home to a Daiso, on Jeongbalsan-ro in Janghang-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang, about 500 m from exit 1 of Jeongbalsan Station and facing the Western Dome. It is known for a wide range of breeds, from Munchkins to Maine Coons and Ragdolls, and the cats are used to people and readily climb onto laps and shoulders. Entry is charged per person, and bottled drinks, churu and chicken treats are sold separately. The cafe is a convenient stop combined with a meal or a walk around the Western Dome area. It opens at noon and closes at 8 pm, and is closed on Mondays.

Nyangi Noriteo is a cat cafe in unit 207 of La Festa building E on Mugunghwa-ro in Janghang-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang, part of the La Festa shopping streets in central Ilsan. About 40 cats of various breeds live here, many with their own backstories, and the cafe says it puts the cats first and is a quiet place to stay for a long time. Entry is charged per person. Staff also give advice to people thinking about getting a cat and help with behaviour problems in cats kept at home. Visitors cannot bring their own cats. The cafe is open every day, from noon on weekdays and 11 am at weekends, until 10 pm, and building E has its own car park.

Catple Heaven Ilsan Tanhyeon is a branch of the Catple cat cafe chain on the first basement floor of Zenith Square, the shopping arcade of the Ilsan We've the Zenith complex in Tanhyeon-dong, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang. A footbridge links it to exit 2 of Tanhyeon Station, and drivers can use gate 3 from the second basement car park. Tickets include a drink, with separate weekday and weekend prices, discounts for groups of five or more, weekday student discounts, lower rates for customers of other shops in the building, and ten-visit passes. The Catple chain also offers adoption and cat care services. The cafe is open every day, from 12:30 pm on weekdays and 11 am at weekends, until 9 pm.

Yaonga Nolja Cat Cafe Wonheung is a cat cafe on the ground floor of a building on Seosamneung-gil in Wonheung-dong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, near Nonghyup University and about ten minutes on foot from exit 6 of Wonheung Station. Several of its gentle, affectionate cats are rescues. Entry includes a drink, with separate prices for adults and teenagers and for children, and a six-visit package valid for a year is available. The space is clean and set up with children in mind, and it is a popular outing for families from Goyang and Paju. There is no dedicated car park. The cafe is open every day, from 11 am to 7 pm on weekdays and until 8 pm at weekends.
