Cat Cafe MOCHA AEON Mall Fukutsu is a branch of the MOCHA cat cafe chain on the second floor of AEON Mall Fukutsu in Himakino, Fukutsu, about eight minutes by bus from JR Fukuma Station. About 19 pedigree cats live here, and they are fed at 10:30 AM and 7:30 PM. No reservations are taken. Entry covers the first 30 minutes and the drink bar: ¥1,045 on weekdays and ¥1,210 at weekends and on holidays, then ¥220 per extra 10 minutes, capped at ¥3,520 or ¥3,850 (tax included). There is no age limit and children aged 2 and under enter free; children below junior-high age must come with a guardian, up to three per adult. It is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM (last entry 7:30 PM). Treats can be bought to give the cats, no meals are served, and visitors are asked not to chase or pick up the cats or use flash.
