Donghae, Gangwon
Myonyang Myonyang is a cat cafe on the second floor of the Ijumin shopping arcade in Cheongok-dong, central Donghae. The entrance is on the side facing the forestry cooperative, next to an unstaffed cafe, and painted signs lead up the stairs to a rooftop-level entrance. The resident cats are calm and the atmosphere relaxed, which suits families with young children. Admission is charged per person, regulars can buy gift vouchers, and visitors who leave a receipt review receive a free cat treat. The owners also breed cats at home and give advice on buying kittens. Last orders are at 7:30 pm. It is closed on Mondays, opens at 1 pm on weekdays and 10 am on weekends, and closes at 8 pm.
