Whiskers and Soda Cat Cafe

Whiskers and Soda is a cat cafe on Garland Road near White Rock Lake in East Dallas. Rob and Caroline Stovall opened it in March 2023 to support A Voice For All Paws, the nonprofit rescue whose cats live there, usually about 15 adults plus kittens in a separate Kitten Tree Room, all vetted and available for adoption. Walk-in rates are $16 an hour for adults and $8 for children, with additional hours at half price; walk-ins depend on space, so reservations are recommended, and monthly members can book further ahead at lower rates. The coffee bar serves cat-named drinks such as the Cappurrccino along with pastries and snacks. House rules ask guests to let the cats approach them, keep shoes off or wear covers, keep noise down and avoid camera flash, and children under 6 must be supervised. Adoptions require an indoor-only home with no declawing. Its sister business, Griffin Rock Cat Retreat, offers cat boarding in the same building. It is closed on Mondays.
