Cat Cafes in Clermont, Florida

Clermont, Florida

The Orlando Cat Café, located at 532 Cagan Park Avenue in Clermont, Florida, just west of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, is a pioneering cat cafe that opened in September 2016 as the first of its kind in Florida. This cozy coffeehouse, partnered with Minch Coffee and SPCA Florida, offers a relaxing space where visitors can enjoy premium coffee, tea, pastries, and sandwiches while interacting with 12-15 adoptable cats in a spacious 1,000-square-foot cat play and adoption area. For a small entry fee, guests can bring their food and drinks into the cat zone to pet, play, and cuddle with the felines, all of whom are available for adoption, or simply watch their antics through a viewing window from the cafe side. The cafe features a separate ventilation system and entrance for the cat area to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and it has facilitated over 2,800 adoptions as of early 2025, blending a love for cats with a commitment to animal welfare. Reservations are strongly recommended for the cat play area, and the cafe also hosts special events like yoga with cats and high tea, making it a unique community hub for cat lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike.
