Kafe U Kočky is a cat café on Staroměstská street by the town square in Chodov, about 20 minutes by car from Karlovy Vary. Five resident cats with different temperaments live in the café, and a short profile with a photo of each one hangs by the entrance. The cats have shelves on the walls, climbing trees in the middle of the room and private areas where they can withdraw from visitors. House rules ask guests not to pick up, pull or chase the cats and to keep noise down. A carpeted children's corner with toys sits in one corner of the room. The menu has coffee, including decaf, matcha, plant milks, more than 15 kinds of cakes, scoop ice cream and small snacks, and cat-themed goods are on sale.
