Cat Cafes in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Coaster ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Cats Cat Cafe is a cat cafe on North Hanover Street in downtown Carlisle, a short walk from the town square. It occupies the former Round-A-Bout Bagels cat cafe, which opened here in April 2025; Roxy and Nick Moseley, a husband-and-wife team from the animal care industry whose love of roller coasters gave the cafe its name, bought the business in the summer of 2026 and reopened it as Coaster Cats in August 2026. Visitors pay timed admission, in 30- or 60-minute slots with lower prices for children, to spend time with adoptable cats from Furry Friends Animal Rescue, and drinks and snacks such as specialty lattes and bagels are bought separately. Reservations through the online booking page are suggested, especially on weekends, though walk-ins are welcome when there is space. Every guest needs a ticket and a signed waiver, and children 12 and under need a chaperone. The cafe runs regular events, such as book nights, teen nights and movie nights.

Purrfect ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Blend Catfe is a cat cafe on East Louther Street in downtown Carlisle, a short walk from the town square, run by owners Kristin and Rod, longtime animal rescuers. It opened with a welcoming weekend on September 26 and 27, 2026, and its adoptable kittens and cats come from Molly's Place Pets, a local rescue. The cats roam freely in a separate cage-free kitty lounge, which is visited by appointment only, booked by phone, while guests who prefer not to go in can watch them from the cat-free cafe area, which sells drinks and desserts. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome, and a fenced dog patio is planned. A small shop sells cat-themed items, with proceeds going to the cats' care, and the space can also be booked for events and meetups with friends.
