Whisker Wonderland Cat Lounge
Bellevue, Pennsylvania
Whisker Wonderland is a cat lounge and adoption center on North Balph Avenue in Bellevue, just northwest of Pittsburgh, opened in early 2025 by artist and rescuer Anna Montano. The lounge is decorated with murals by local artists and handmade climbing structures built from repurposed materials, and it is home to rescued community cats that are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and tested before adoption. Visitors pay an hourly entrance fee to pet the cats, work or study, spend time with friends or look for a cat to adopt. Booking ahead is best, and walk-ins are taken as space allows. The lounge puts an emphasis on inclusion, and quieter time slots can be arranged for visitors with sensory needs or disabilities. It also offers free classes on trap-neuter-return, events for children and adults with local businesses, and birthday parties.
