Cat ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​​‌​​‌‌‌‌‌‌​​​​‌​‌‌​​​‌‌​​‌‌​​⁠Cafe Nepal is a cat cafe in Kupondole, Lalitpur, directly opposite Campion College. It first opened in Jhamsikhel in 2022, later operated from Miteri Marg in Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu, and moved to its current Kupondole premises in 2026. The cafe keeps a large group of cats, more than a dozen and mostly Persians, along with kittens, in a dedicated cat room. Entry to the cat room is charged per person and includes a drink and a treat that visitors can feed to the cats, and the cafe also serves coffee, tea, pastries and light meals such as momo and sandwiches. Walk-ins are accepted, although bookings made by phone or message get priority. The cafe is open six days a week and closed on Mondays.

Fireflies ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​‌‌‌‌‌​‌‌‌‌​‌​​‌‌​​​​‌‌​‌​​‌‌​‌⁠Cat Cafe is a cat cafe on the third floor of Hotel Yog, part of the Fireflies Retreat Home hostel, at Kaldhara Chowk in Paknajol on the northwestern edge of Thamel, Kathmandu. The hostel opened the cafe in 2025 with eleven cats, and it now keeps a group of around eight or more cats, sometimes including kittens, in a calm room where guests can sit and play with them. Visitors pay a flat entry fee that includes one drink, and the kitchen serves coffee, snacks and vegetarian and vegan meals. The same building houses the hostel's rooms and a yoga studio, so the cafe is a quiet spot just off the busy Thamel lanes. It is open every day from morning until early evening.

Drink ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌‌‌‌​‌‌​‌​‌‌​‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‌​​‌‌​‌​⁠Station is a garden cafe and drinks bar on Basuki Marg in Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu, tucked away from the main Baneshwor roads in a small, tree-filled compound. Several resident cats live on the premises and wander freely between the garden tables, and the cafe presents itself as a quiet place where cats roam and visitors can slow down. There is no entry fee or separate cat room; guests order from a menu of bubble teas with popping pearls, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, coffee and Himalayan herbal teas such as rhododendron and butterfly pea blends, along with sandwiches and other light food. Because the cats move around as they like, how many are present at any time varies. The cafe is closed on Mondays.
