Cat Cafes in Ako, Hyogo

Ako, Hyogo

Neko Parasol is a small cat room on the second floor of the building that houses Cadou, a multinational restaurant in Kariya, Ako, about three minutes on foot from JR Banshu-Ako Station. Three American Shorthairs named Toto, Lulu and Bibi live here. Visits are charged per hour with 30-minute extensions, and there is a lower rate for high school students and younger. Guests who have eaten at Cadou downstairs receive a discount, so the cat room can be combined with a meal of curry, gapao or seasonal oyster dishes. Reservations are preferred and can be made by phone or by Instagram message through the restaurant. The cat room opens only from Friday to Sunday, with shorter hours on Sundays.
