Xuezhang Cat Cafe
Xuezhang (Senior Classmate) is a small cat cafe on Tianma Road in Houxi Town, in the Jimei district of Xiamen. Cats of several breeds share a cosy room with tables and window seats, some napping and others coming over to visitors. The cafe serves drinks, and visits have cost about 35 yuan per person.

Miao Miao Shan is a stray-cat rescue cafe on the third floor of Building B2 in the Lianfa Huamei Space creative park in Xiamen, above a coffee shop. It started as a hillside shelter and campsite for nearly a hundred strays at Tianma Mountain in Houxi and has since moved here. The two-level space has climbing frames on both floors, and the cats include rescued and disabled cats as well as a few Ragdolls; a rescued Samoyed also lives here. Visitors buy an entry pass or a drink package with cat treats, and many of the cats are available for adoption.

Staff help visitors take photos with the cats, including instant-camera prints. The cafe also welcomes guests' own pets. It opened in spring 2025.

It opened in October 2022. The owners introduce the cats and show visitors how to play with them using teaser wands. The menu has coffee, sparkling drinks and waffles. Opening times are irregular, so it is worth calling ahead.
