The Paw Street
The Paw Street is a dog and cat lounge in Rilaulla, Kandana, north of Colombo near Ja-Ela, and describes itself as Sri Lanka's first interactive pet lounge. Visitors spend a timed session of a little over an hour in an indoor lounge with the venue's resident cats and dogs, and the entry fee includes a complimentary drink, with lower rates for children under 12 and free entry for children under three. Small packs of pet food can be bought to feed the animals. Reservations are required, outside pets are not allowed, and guests are asked to follow the lounge's guidelines for handling the animals. The lounge also hosts pet yoga sessions and birthday celebrations. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays.
