The Cat is a rescue cat cafe on the fourth floor of the Jungang Building in the Sinbu-dong food street, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, directly in front of Sinbu Culture Park. The cafe covers about 70 pyeong and has around 40 cats, many of them rescued, and entry fees go towards their veterinary care and food. The owner regularly posts cats available for adoption on the cafe's blog. Many of the cats are lap cats. Entry includes either a drink or a cat treat, with separate rates for young children, school students and adults, and children from two years old up to third grade of primary school must come with a guardian. The cafe also has retro arcade machines and board games. It opens at 2 PM on weekdays and noon at weekends, and stays open until 11 PM.
