Tabby & Fidos Cat Cafe

Tabby & Fidos, located in downtown Bowling Green, Ohio, proudly holds the title of Northwest Ohio’s first cat cafe, opened in May 2023 by co-owner Patty Beam with a mission to bring joy and relaxation to the community. This woman-owned establishment offers a dual experience: a welcoming cafe with a self-serve coffee bar, bottled drinks, and gluten-free pre-packaged baked goods, alongside a separate, cage-free cat lounge where guests can reserve 50-minute sessions to play and cuddle with up to 12 adoptable cats fostered from partners Wood County Humane Society and Toledo Animal Rescue. Open Wednesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the cafe requires lounge reservations to ensure a stress-free environment for the cats, while the cafe side remains open to all with a viewing window for feline admirers. Featuring local art, pet merchandise, and events like cat yoga and sound baths, Tabby & Fidos creates a cozy, community-driven space where visitors—including BGSU students missing their pets—can unwind, socialize kitties, and support adoptions, all within a budget-friendly and inclusive setting.z
