Salty Cat Cafe
Salty Cat Cafe is the cat lounge of Salty Cats Rescue, a volunteer rescue for abandoned and feral cats, in a mural-painted building on Bayview Avenue in the St. Andrews area of Panama City. It is less a cafe than a rescue's adoption house: visitors pass a small gift shop and spend an hour in a large snuggle room with the rescue's cats and kittens, many of them teenagers and adults, plus an outdoor area. Sessions are paid by the hour and can be booked online or taken as a walk-in. All the cats are available for adoption through the rescue, and the founder matches adopters with suitable cats.
