PHX Cat Cafe North

PHX ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Cat Cafe North is the second location of the nonprofit PHX Cat Cafe, on West Union Hills Drive near 43rd Avenue in north Phoenix, within Glendale city limits. It opened on March 28, 2026 in an 8,200-square-foot space that is larger than the downtown original and holds about 35 to 40 rescue cats, many taken from colonies its volunteers care for and some from the Yuma animal shelter. The lounge, designed with cat style expert Kate Benjamin, has ramps, shelves and a catwalk spanning the room, and large windows let coffee drinkers watch from the seating area outside. The coffee bar serves espresso, tea and smoothies. Visits last one hour, nearly every cat is available for adoption through an online application, and reservations are required, including for groups with children under 13. The lounge closes from 2 to 3 PM daily for a cat break.
