Pat-A-Cat is a small cat lounge and adoption space on the upper floor of a shophouse on Joo Chiat Road, in the Peranakan heritage district of Joo Chiat. Its owner rescues cats and kittens from places such as worksites and from owners who abandoned them, and the cats live together in the lounge while they wait for new homes. Visitors pay an hourly entry fee that includes a drink and can spend time with the cats, many of which are affectionate lap cats; kittens are often present. All the cats are available for adoption, which is handled by appointment. The rescue work is partly funded by the sale of pre-loved clothing and accessories in the shop. The space is small, so booking ahead is advisable, although walk-ins are possible when it is quiet. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Cat Paradise is a cage-free cat adoption centre run as a cat cafe on the second floor of a shophouse on Joo Chiat Road, about ten minutes on foot from Paya Lebar MRT. It works with independent rescuers to rehome cats, and the rescued cats roam the lounge freely alongside a few permanent residents, so visitors can get to know their personalities before deciding to adopt. Recreational visits are charged per person by the hour, with day passes available, and children pay the same rate. Sessions are capped at six people, so booking online is encouraged, and walk-ins depend on space. There is no minimum age, but children under 12 must be supervised, socks are required and outside treats are not allowed. Adopters contact the team by WhatsApp to start the process, and the adoption fee goes to the rescue partner. Boarding and grooming are also offered.

The Block Bouquets Cat Cafe
Singapore, Central17 mi / 27 km
The Block Bouquets Cat Cafe is a craft studio on the second floor of a shophouse on Geylang Road, between Kallang and Aljunied MRT stations, where visitors build everlasting flower bouquets from plastic bricks in the company of resident cats. The business began as a brick-bouquet shop; customers kept playing with the owner's cat while they worked, so the shop added a cat cafe and reopened in revamped premises in 2026. Several cats, including rescued and adopted ones, roam the cat level, and a separate cat-free area is available for guests who only want to build. Visits are booked as timed bouquet-building sessions, with or without cats, and ready-made bouquets, DIY kits and gifts are sold in the shop. The studio also hosts corporate and private events. Booking ahead is recommended.
