Nyanhotto Ikebukuro
Nyanhotto Ikebukuro is a rescue cat adoption facility on the 11th floor of the UPROVEMENT building in Minami-Ikebukuro, about two minutes on foot from exit 39 on the east side of Ikebukuro Station. It opened on October 1, 2026, relocating and expanding the operators' earlier Nyanhotto branch in Otorii, and is designed to hold more than 100 rescued cats at a time. Visits are free but must be booked online in 90-minute slots, with up to four people per group, and visitors can also step inside the cage areas to meet individual cats. There is no obligation to adopt. Adoptions involve a transfer fee that covers medical costs and a required monthly home-care plan. The facility is run by Connect Pet together with the rescue group Nyanhotto and opens from 10 AM to 8 PM on irregular days, with a cat rest hour each afternoon.
