Mini Cat Town Palo Alto
Mini Cat Town Palo Alto is a kitten lounge and adoption center on California Avenue, Palo Alto's pedestrian-friendly shopping street a few blocks from the California Avenue Caltrain station. Mini Cat Town, a nonprofit founded in 2015 by sisters Thi, Thoa and Tram Bui, rescues neonatal kittens from shelters, raises them in foster homes and brings them to its lounges for adoption. The organization had a temporary space at Stanford Shopping Center until early 2025 and opened this storefront later that year. Visitors pay a per-person fee for a 30-minute session in a large room with toys and climbing spots where the kittens and young cats move around freely, and volunteers look after them. Entry is walk-in only and can involve a wait on weekends. Every guest signs a waiver, and the last group enters 30 minutes before closing. All the cats are adoptable.

The Dancing Cat
