貓這邊餐飲俱樂部 is a rescue cat restaurant in a renovated old house on a lane off Ersheng 2nd Road in Qianzhen District, Kaohsiung. Its three resident cats, a 14-year-old white-and-tabby, an affectionate black cat and a young calico, spend most of their time in the upstairs room where guests can sit with them, and the owners rehome stray cats through the restaurant, so adoption enquiries are welcome. The kitchen is known for carefully made pastas and risottos, such as caramel lemon mentaiko seafood risotto and duck breast tomato pasta, plus fried platters, salads, crème brûlée and coffee. There is no 10% service charge. Upstairs seating is limited to six or seven groups, so booking is recommended. The house is kept cool and free of cat odour, and its retro decoration makes it a pleasant place for a long lunch.
