Lily's Cat Cafe
Lily's Cat Cafe is a cat cafe at 2 Deane Street in St Augustine, Trinidad, on the compound of the Tenderheart Animals veterinary clinic, which opened the cat room. Michelle Pounder and Akil Samuel took it over in 2024 and named it after their rescue cat Lily. The lounge keeps about ten rescued cats, most of them from the TTSPCA, and all are available for adoption: adopters apply, are interviewed and pay a TT$300 fee that covers vaccinations and spaying or neutering. Booking online is recommended, and walk-ins are taken when there is space. In October 2026 a one-hour visit cost TT$50, two hours TT$90 and a full day of four hours or more TT$150, with lower rates for children under 12 and students. Each visit includes a free coffee or tea; no food is sold, but visitors may bring their own. The cafe has a resident dog and hosts events such as Paws & Reflect journaling mornings, Catnip & Paint nights and yoga; its room and garden can be hired for private gatherings.

Kfe en Taza
Caracas, Distrito Capital374 mi / 603 km
Kfe en Taza is a cat cafe on Avenida Urdaneta in central Caracas, diagonally across from the CICPC headquarters and a few blocks from Parque Carabobo. Opened in 2020 by animal rescuer Carol Mateus, it is widely described as the first cat cafe in Venezuela. A group of rescued resident cats, eight at last count, roam the cafe and have a door to a quiet area where they can retreat from guests, and visitors are asked not to feed them. There is no entry fee; guests order from a menu of about 25 coffee drinks, desserts such as brownies and cookies, and savoury dishes. Profits pay for sterilisation drives and street-cat rescues, and the cafe rehomes rescued cats: adopters bring their ID, a printed RIF and a carrier. Mugs and cat products are sold to raise funds.
