Gem City Catfé is a nonprofit cat cafe offering a cage-free lounge with up to 18 adoptable rescue cats from its 501(c)(3) partner, Gem City Kitties. Visitors can book one-hour sessions for $10 per person ($5 for kids 12 and under) to spend time with the cats in a cozy, carpeted space designed for play and relaxation, supporting the cafe’s mission to find them homes—over 500 adoptions since opening in 2018. The separate espresso bar serves coffee, tea, wine, beer, and baked goods like muffins and cookies, with a viewing window into the lounge for cat-watching while dining. Founded by Wendy Welch, it also offers private events and uses all proceeds to fund cat care and community outreach.
