Visitors can book time in the Kitty Lounge to interact with the cats, with options for a 30-minute visit ($10) or a full hour ($15), and enjoy a selection of made-to-order coffee, tea, and snacks like cookies and brownies from a separate coffee shop area. Founded by Karen Stratman as North Carolina’s first cat cafe, it provides a relaxing space for cats to showcase their personalities and find homes, limiting capacity to 10 guests at a time for the cats’ comfort. The cafe supports rescue efforts with all proceeds and offers a therapeutic experience for those unable to own pets, with walk-ins accepted if space allows.
