The Catmosphere was a cat cafe and adoption lounge at 1287 Lafayette Avenue in the 12 Points neighborhood of Terre Haute, Indiana. Owned by Jade Lishka, it opened in the summer of 2024 with a grand opening on July 8, 2024. At first all of its adoptable cats came from the Terre Haute Humane Society; it later rotated between rescue groups around the Wabash Valley, starting with Ouabache. The cafe side, kept separate from the cat lounge, served coffee, tea, boba and sparkling energy drinks called Zoomies, along with bottled sodas and snacks. Lounge visits cost $8 for half an hour or $12 for an hour, as walk-ins or booked in advance, with a limited number of guests at a time. It has since closed.

The Cat's Closet
