The Catmosphere is a cozy cat café and adoption lounge located at 1287 Lafayette Avenue in Terre Haute, Indiana, nestled in the heart of the revitalized 12 Points neighborhood. Opened in June 2024, it offers a welcoming space where guests can sip on handcrafted drinks like bubble tea, Zoomies (sparkling energy refreshers), coffee, and freshly brewed tea—along with bottled sodas and locally sourced snacks—while relaxing with friendly, adoptable rescue cats in a free-roaming, home-like lounge. With a mission to reduce the stray cat population and increase adoptions, The Catmosphere partners with local shelters and rescues to help connect cats with loving homes. Guests are welcome to walk in for 30-minute or 1-hour sessions, or reserve a 1-hour visit in advance. All visits are limited in capacity to maintain a peaceful, personalized experience.
