Lazy Cat Lounge
Lazy Cat Lounge & Café is a cat café where visitors can spend time with adoptable cats from My New Cat Rescue, a local foster-based organization. It opened on November 30, 2019, as Lafayette’s first cat café and typically houses 5-10 cats at a time. Guests can visit the cat lounge for $10 per hour, with kids 12 and under at $8, and enjoy drinks like coffee or hot chocolate and snacks such as pastries or popcorn from the café side. The cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and the lounge is open Tuesday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a capacity of about 10-12 people, so reservations are recommended.
