Catfé Kočičárna
Catfé Kočičárna is an adoption cat café on 1. máje street in central Liberec, a few steps from the Forum Liberec shopping centre and the Fügnerova tram and bus stop. Opened in 2018 as the city's first cat café, it works with the local animal welfare group Šance zvířatům, which supplies the cats; some live there permanently and others wait in the café for new homes. Cats roam freely around the room, and a printed set of house rules asks visitors not to touch cats that are asleep or resting in their beds. Entry is limited to visitors aged 15 and over, and every guest is expected to order. The menu offers coffee, homemade lemonades, cakes, cheesecakes and savoury snacks, and the café sells its own T-shirts and bags. It is closed on Sundays.
