Cat Lover's Garden Seoul
Cat Lover's Garden, called Goyangi Jeongwon in Korean, is a rescue cat sanctuary and cafe on the slopes of Gaehwasan in Gaehwa-dong, Gangseo-gu, about eight minutes on foot from exit 2 of Gaehwasan Station and five minutes by car from Gimpo Airport. Running since 2010, it had moved by late 2025 from its old address on Gaehwadong-ro 19-gil to a new site further up the hill. The cats roam freely through indoor rooms and garden spaces rather than a single cafe floor; in early 2026 the owner put their number at about 70. Entry is charged by age group, with separate rates for adults, secondary school students, elementary school children and preschoolers, and the fee includes a drink from the fridge. A feeding time during the day is one of the highlights of a visit, and cats are available for adoption through the sanctuary. A visitor in February 2026 found the owner running it alone and reported that many cats looked unkempt or unwell. Visitors may not bring their own dogs or cats. It is open from 10:30 AM to 8 PM and closed on Tuesdays.

The cats come from the company's own care centre, where they are socialised with people from birth, and cats that are uncomfortable with visitors are not placed in the cafe. Breeds include Ragdolls, Munchkins, British Shorthairs, American Shorthairs, Norwegian Forest Cats and Folds.
