Cat House Bukit Bintang Park
The Cat House, or Rumah Kucing, is a cat room inside Bukit Bintang Park and Resort, a family leisure park with a waterpark and mini golf just east of Banjarbaru. Opened in December 2024, the small air-conditioned house holds a large group of well-fed pedigree and domestic cats, including Maine Coons, Bengals, Persians and British Shorthairs; some are shy at first, but most come round to play with the toys provided. Entry is charged separately from the park ticket, at around 20,000 to 25,000 IDR per person in 2026, and visits are limited to about 20 minutes when it is busy. Staff sell sachets of cat food. The litter area is in a separate room, so the play room stays odour-free, and visitors sanitise their hands on the way out. The cat house opens from about 9 AM to 4:30 PM; on Fridays the park opens only in the afternoon.
