Cat a Coffee
Cat a Coffee is a cat cafe on Rua Visconde de Nácar in the centre of Ponta Grossa, and the first in the city. It opened at the end of 2025, with the cafe on the lower floors and the CatRoom on the third floor, reached by stairs. Up to 12 rescued cats live in the CatRoom as a foster home while they wait for adoption, placed by the partner shelters GAR and Recanto do Ronron. Visitors eat first and then ask staff for a place in the CatRoom, which has limited capacity; on busy days visits are limited to 20 minutes, and the visit fee goes entirely to the cats' care. Food and drink are not allowed in the room, cats may not be picked up, and children under 12 must be with an adult. Adoptions go through the shelter, and new owners collect their cat at the cafe.

Cat Café Peticas
Botucatu, São Paulo187 mi / 302 km
Cat Café Peticas is a weekly cat cafe run by the Gatil Peticas adoption project at the Peticas veterinary clinic on Avenida Santana in central Botucatu, opposite a Burger King. Every Wednesday afternoon the cattery opens as a cafe: visitors can have coffee, cakes and savory snacks, play with the rescued cats and kittens, and learn about volunteering. Sales of food and drink help fund the project's work. The cattery is also open for visits on Saturday mornings, mainly for people interested in adopting. All the cats are rescues looking for homes, and adoption involves an interview over WhatsApp, photos or videos of the home, a home visit and delivery of the cat, with homes required to have secure walls or window screens. Opening times are short, so it is worth checking the project's Instagram before going.
