Cat Cafes in Xian, Shaanxi

Xian, Shaanxi

Momi ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Forest is a small cafe and bar beneath the city wall on Shuncheng South Lane, just west of the South Gate inside the old city, next to the back door of the Xiangzimen Youth Hostel. Open since around 2011, it is one of Xi'an's oldest cat cafes, and its owner has taken in many rescued street cats over the years. A few cats live in the two-level room. Visitors order a drink and can write postcards to take, mail or leave behind, and guest notebooks go back to the cafe's early years. Children were not admitted in the past.
