KotoFan-Klub
Vologda
KotoFan-Klub is a cat anticafe and mini shelter in the lower-ground floor of a building on Oktyabrskaya Street in central Vologda, near the Kirova stop. Opened in September 2023 as a grant-funded project of the Veles animal welfare society, it is the only cat cafe in the city. Around 15 to 20 formerly homeless cats live here, all vaccinated and neutered, and each one is looking for a home; visitors have adopted cats from the cafe. Entry is a single fee with no time limit, with lower rates for children, and tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets are included. There are board games and books, and visitors can play with, stroke or simply sit beside the cats. The cafe is open every afternoon.
