Snoopcat Cafe is a two-storey cafe on Sappasit Road in the heart of Ubon Ratchathani, next to Wat Pathumalai and opposite Ubon Wittayakhom School. The ground floor is a regular cafe, good for working or meeting friends, so anyone who is allergic to cats or simply not keen can stay downstairs. Upstairs is the cat zone, open from midday, where a mix of breeds, including a very sociable Sphynx, roam freely and often settle on laps. Access to the cats costs 50 baht or the purchase of a drink. The menu is broad for a cat cafe: coffee and non-coffee drinks, Italian sodas, smoothies, cakes, Thai-style Tokyo pancakes and roti, plus breakfast and simple lunch dishes at affordable prices. The staff are friendly, the space is clean and free of smells, and free parking is available.
