Cafelino Cat Café

Cafelino Cat Café is a cat cafe on Avenida Alemania in Temuco, next to a veterinary clinic, and describes itself as the city's first cat cafe. A group of cats lives in a small room decorated and furnished for them, with climbing shelves and toys, and they wander among the tables and approach visitors at their own pace. Some of the cats are available for adoption, and new arrivals are introduced on the cafe's social media. Visits are booked in advance through an online booking system, with a set length of stay and house rules on respecting the cats' space and rest. The menu is light, with coffee, lemonades, hot chocolate, muffins, lemon pie and other sweets. The cafe closes on Mondays and Tuesdays to give the cats days off. After a break in mid-2026, it reopened on 5 September 2026 at its current address.
