Purrfect Cafe
East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire
Purrfect Cafe is a cat cafe on Montgomery Street in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, close to the town centre. Opened in 2025, it is home to fourteen resident cats, most taken in after their previous families could no longer care for them, and they live in the cafe permanently. The cafe describes itself as ASD-friendly, with gentle lighting, soft seating, quiet zones and a children's area, and it offers free sessions for additional support needs schools. Visitors pay an entry fee that goes towards the cats' care, and advance booking is recommended, as sessions with no bookings may be closed. The menu covers coffee, milkshakes, smoothies, ice cream, waffles, toasties and sandwiches. Cat yoga and birthday parties are also held. The cafe is open every day.
