Jackycat Teahouse Jacky喵茶屋
Tai Wai, Sha Tin
Jackycat Teahouse is a small upstairs cat cafe on Chik Shun Street in Tai Wai, above the Pet Community grooming shop and a short walk from Tai Wai MTR Station. It is home to around seven or eight cats, and the owner introduces each cat's background and personality to visitors; some of the cats are happy to be held. Visits are charged per person by the hour, with a higher rate on weekends and public holidays, and the fee includes a drink and cat treats. There is a self-service coffee machine and tea, and cakes and fruit teas are sold separately, but no meals are served and outside food is not allowed. The cafe is popular with families with young children. Booking by phone, WhatsApp or Instagram message is recommended, since the room may be closed for cleaning at times, and the space can be booked for private parties.
