O Gato Café SJP Sao Jose Dos Pinhais, Paraná
O Gato Café SJP is a cat cafe on Rua Doutor Manoel Ribeiro de Campos in the centre of São José dos Pinhais, in the Curitiba metropolitan area. Opened in August 2025 as the first cafe with cats in the city, it is a small, poster-filled coffee bar where visitors have coffee, hot chocolate, sweets and savoury snacks with about ten resident cats nearby. The cats live in an enclosed area next to the cafe, and visitors can go in to spend time with them in what the cafe calls cat therapy. The resident cats are not for adoption, and the cafe does not take in rescues. Visitors' own pets are not allowed, to protect the cats. No booking is needed, but entry depends on how full the cafe is. It is closed on Tuesdays.
