San Francisco, California

Whiskerwood Haven is a cat lounge and adoption center located on Geary Boulevard in San Francisco, offering visitors the chance to spend time with rescued cats and kittens while supporting local animal welfare. This shelter-based foster facility partners with Bay Area rescue organizations including Pink Paws for the Cause, Give Me Shelter SF, and Bay Area Cats to provide temporary homes for felines awaiting adoption. Guests can book 30-minute or one-hour sessions to relax in the lounge and get to know the resident cats, with staff and volunteers available to help match potential adopters with compatible companions. Beyond standard visits, Whiskerwood Haven hosts special events including yoga sessions with cats, watercolor painting nights, silent book club gatherings, anime evenings, and study sessions. The lounge maintains a no-shoe policy with provided foot covers to protect the health of their young kittens.
