Fat Cat Café is a cat café on the La Croisette promenade at Porto Arabia, The Pearl, on the ground floor of the Eighteen Porto Arabia tower. Opened in 2024, it is home to around 16 well-groomed cats of various breeds, many of them rescues. Visitors pay an entry fee for a timed session in a separate cat lounge, with 30-minute and one-hour packages, the longer one including a drink, and booking ahead by phone or email is recommended. Staff stay in the lounge to supervise and help children handle the cats gently. The café menu has coffee, cat-themed drinks, desserts, pastries and light meals, and there is a daily late-afternoon feeding hour for which visitors can book a slot. The café is open every day from morning until 10 PM, with afternoon opening and later closing on Fridays.

Doha

Nine Lives Cat Cafe is a rescue cat café in Qanat Quartier, the colourful canal-side district of The Pearl in Doha. Opened in 2025, it is home to around 25 cats rescued from Doha's streets, and its cats are available for adoption. The café has a seating area where guests can have coffee without going in with the cats, and a separate cat lounge with a custom-built indoor playground and toys. Entry to the cat area is charged per person for 30 minutes or one hour, with a free drink included in the hour, and cat treats can be bought to feed the cats. Nine Lives also offers cat grooming and boarding and hosts community events such as cat yoga. The café can be booked for private parties, when the lounge may be closed to walk-in visitors.

Lusail, Al Daayen

Kitty Café is a cat café in Lusail, in the Malibu Residences building next to Q Fight Gym, a short walk behind Place Vendôme Mall. It opened in late 2023 as the first cat café in Qatar and now runs from this location only, after its original branch at the Cielo Hotel closed. Around 16 to 25 resident cats live in a dedicated lounge where visitors can pet, play with and feed them, and staff point out which cats are happy to be approached. Sessions run from 30 minutes to two hours, with lower prices for children and a free drink included in longer visits. The menu covers coffee, iced drinks and snacks, and there is a kids' zone, a membership club, birthday and event bookings and occasional cat-care workshops. Tables can be booked through the website.
