Miaow Cat Café

Miaow Cat Café is a cat cafe on Avenida Austral in the Jardín Oriente area of Puerto Montt, and the only cat cafe in the city. Several resident cats live in a space built with shelves and resting places for them, and they sleep, play and watch visitors while staff introduce each cat by name. A sign at the entrance sets out the rules for handling the cats, and the staff ask visitors to keep noise down so the cats stay calm, which makes it better suited to older children and adults than to toddlers. The menu covers coffee, frappuccinos, cakes, pizzas and sandwiches, with a menu online. Reservations are taken by phone or message, and the cafe opens Wednesday to Sunday in the afternoon and early evening.
