Cat-puccino Coffee is a cat-themed cafe in Plaza Puerta del Sol, on Punta Calabozo in the Puerta del Sol area of Reynosa. The whole space is decorated with cats, from the paintings and games to the plates and drink names, and a small group of resident cats, around five, joins guests in the cafe. The cats are usually present from Friday to Sunday afternoons rather than every day, so visitors who come mainly for them should check before going. Staff explain the house rules on arrival, and handling of the cats is limited to keep them calm, which makes the cafe better suited to adults and older children. The menu includes espresso drinks, frappés, Italian sodas, smoothies and milkshakes, crepes, paninis, chilaquiles, burgers and brunch plates, plus cat-shaped conchas. Board games are available, and the cafe hosts workshops and celebrates its cats' birthdays.
Dina's Cat Café

Dina's Cat Café is a small cat cafe in Plaza del Sur (local 22) on Boulevard Hacienda del Jacal, in El Jacal next to Jardines de la Hacienda in the south of Querétaro, beside a BBVA branch. Opened around the start of 2026 and run directly by its owners, it is home to the family's own rescued cats, who wander freely among the tables and climb onto chairs and laps. The cats are part of the household rather than adoption candidates. There is no separate entry fee: visitors order from a short menu of coffee, chai, frappés, baguettes, croissants and desserts and stay to spend time with the cats. The space is quiet and suited to reading or working. Children are welcome but must handle the cats gently, and the cafe hosts occasional workshops and themed events.
Il Gato Cat Café
Leon, Guanajuato
Il Gato Cat Café is a rescue cat cafe on Valle de Atemajac in Valle del Campestre, in the north of León. It began as an extension of Fundación Pro Pet and works as a pre-adoption space, caring for around 30 rescued cats that live in two rooms: a front room with tables facing the street and a second lounge at the back. Visitors receive the house rules and hand sanitiser at the door, then order from a menu of coffee, frappés, shakes, ramen, burgers and sweet and savoury snacks, and can stay for several hours with the cats. Cat treats can be bought to feed them. Spending at the cafe funds the cats' care, and visitors who connect with a cat can apply to adopt it through the foundation. The cafe holds occasional kitten adoption days and themed evenings, and opens only in the evening from Wednesday to Saturday.

Chihuahua
Snacks and Cats is a cat cafe and adoption lounge at the corner of Calle Segunda and Calle De la Llave in the historic centre of Chihuahua, a few steps from the Quinta Gameros museum and close to Paseo Bolívar. The cafe takes in rescued cats and kittens, and the money from visits and orders pays for their rescue, veterinary care and upkeep until they are adopted through a responsible adoption process. Visitors order from a menu of snacks and drinks, including burgers served in cat-shaped buns, fried chicken, Korean-style drinks and canned teas, and then spend time with the cats in their area. Board games are available. No booking is needed, but the minimum age is six, and outside pets are not allowed in order to protect the resident cats. The cafe is not a shelter and does not accept surrendered cats.

Cattus Café
Toluca, State Of Mexico
Cattus Café is a cat cafe on the upper floor of a building on Calle José María Arteaga in the Francisco Murguía neighborhood of Toluca. Opened in November 2024 by a local couple, it was the first cafe in Toluca built around spending time with resident cats. Five cats live here, among them Capuchino, Félix, Galleta, Dobby and Roli, and the owners keep the number at six or fewer on veterinary advice. The cats have beds, cushions and toys by the window, and staff hand out treats for visitors to give them. Visitors ring at the door so the cats cannot slip out. Guests are asked not to force contact or pick up cats, and children must stay with an adult. The kitchen bakes its own bread and serves cat-shaped burger buns, chilaquiles, taiyaki and conchas, with vegan options.
Central Cats
San Nicolas De Los Garza, Nuevo Leon
Central Cats is a cat cafe in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood of San Nicolás de los Garza, in northern metro Monterrey, decorated as a tribute to the TV series Friends, with a Central Perk-style sofa and themed dishes such as Joey's meatball sub. The resident cats live in a separate room with their beds, toys and bowls, where guests can sit with them; only drinks are allowed in the cat area, and a second dining room without cats suits visitors with allergies or those who want to eat. The menu covers breakfasts such as chilaquiles, cheesecake and other desserts, espresso drinks, flavored and seasonal lattes, matcha, taro and chai. Board games are available. The cafe holds kitten adoption events with the rescue group Cultura Perrona, as well as cat yoga and art workshops. It is open Tuesday to Sunday, with the kitchen closing at 8:30 PM.

La Catfetería

La Catfetería is a small cafe with a cat area on Lorenzo Boturini in Jardín Balbuena, Venustiano Carranza. Rescued cats, most of them waiting for adoption, share the space with customers, who can play with and stroke them while they eat, and the cafe introduces individual cats on its social media. The menu has espresso drinks, seasonal lattes, infusions, ciabattas and desserts, with cat faces drawn on some of the coffees, and there is also a takeaway window. Spending at the cafe helps pay for the cats' care. It is a quiet neighbourhood spot that welcomes children, and it is closed on Mondays.

Vegattos is a vegan cafe, grocery and cat cafe on the eighth floor of Insurgentes Centro 19 in San Rafael, half a block from the Revolución Metrobús stop. It is run by El Gato Vago, a cat shelter that cares for well over a hundred rescued cats, and a few of them live at the cafe, where they roam among the tables and can be adopted. The kitchen is fully vegan, with a daily set lunch, seitan tacos, burgers, quesabirria and desserts, and the shop sells refrigerated vegan products such as sausages, cheese and ice cream along with cat accessories, toys and food. The windows look out over Insurgentes and the city centre. Purchases support the shelter, and the cafe is closed on Mondays.

Crumbs & Whiskers Café

Crumbs & Whiskers Café is a rescue cat cafe in the Galerías Plaza de las Estrellas shopping centre on Avenida Marina Nacional in Verónica Anzures, Miguel Hidalgo, between the Sanborns and the Smart Fit gym and next to the Foreign Ministry passport office. Kittens and adult cats of all ages share the cafe with customers, and all of them are rescues looking for homes, with frequent turnover as cats are adopted. The menu covers coffee, tea, frappés, breakfasts such as chilaquiles and French toast, salads and desserts. Money spent at the cafe goes towards the cats' care. It is a quiet place to work or wait after a passport appointment, and it is closed on Tuesdays.

Yuki-CatCafé is a Japanese-style cafe with a cat area on Calzada de Tlalpan in Portales Norte, Benito Juárez, between the Portales and Ermita stations of Metro Line 2. It opened in October 2026 and combines a coffee shop with a separate room where visitors can spend time with the resident cats. The cafe serves coffee and food with a Japanese theme, and there are video game consoles for guests to use. As a new venue its menu, cat numbers and visiting rules are still being set, so check its Instagram before going.
Katu Café

Katu Café is a cat cafe and adoption space in the Pabellón ADSA building on Circuito Circunvalación Poniente in Ciudad Satélite, on the Tlalnepantla side of the Satélite area north of Mexico City. The cafe gives a temporary home to rescued cats and kittens and shows them to visitors who may want to adopt, with each cat's age and temperament posted on its adoption page. Adoptions follow the cafe's own application process. Guests order food or drinks and spend time with the cats in the cat area, and a separate cat-free section is available for anyone who prefers to work or eat away from them. The menu covers coffee, tisanes, traditional cacao drinks, frappés, tapioca drinks, chapatas, baguettes, molletes and desserts. Board games and books are on hand, and the cafe hosts small events. It is open Monday to Saturday.

San Michi Café

San Michi Café is a cat-themed evening cafe on Calle 8 in Colonia Esperanza, Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, where resident cats share the space with visitors and can be petted. It opened in early 2026 and bills itself as the only cafe in Neza with real cats. Guests order from a menu of cappuccinos, lattes, tisanes, frappés, smoothies, Italian sodas and milkshakes, along with paninis, crepes, burgers, chilaquiles, enchiladas, cakes and cat-shaped conchas, and cocktails are served later in the evening. The cafe runs karaoke on request and hosts film nights, and it also sells monthly collectible cat figures. It opens from late afternoon until 11:30 PM every day except Tuesday, and offers delivery within about 2 km by WhatsApp.
