Whisker's Pet Cafe is a pet cafe on the second floor of the KBC 2 building near Gajera Compound in Mota Varachha, Surat. It opened in September 2026. Several resident cats share the space with the cafe's dogs and puppies, and visitors can sit with the animals while they have a coffee or a meal. The menu centres on specialty coffee, including an espresso tonic, along with brownies and other cafe food. It stays open late every day, past midnight. The cafe has not published a visit fee, the number of cats or where they come from, so it is worth calling ahead before a first visit.
Meow & Munch
New Delhi
Meow & Munch is a small cat cafe on the ground floor of K-1/11 in Chittaranjan Park, South Delhi, near Deshbandhu College. It opened in late 2025 in a cosy room with seating for about a dozen people, where the owners' resident cats, including Persians, wander among the tables. Visitors can pet and play with the cats but are not allowed to pick them up, and the owners ask guests to let sleeping or shy cats be. The menu covers sandwiches such as katsu and fried chicken, wings, boba drinks, matcha and strawberry lattes, shakes and Nutella-filled doughnuts. Tables can be reserved through Swiggy Dineout. Because one kitchen serves the whole room, food can take a while at busy times, and weekday daytime visits are quieter. The cafe also takes event bookings and catering orders.

Mysuru, Karnataka
Jin Min Cat World is a cat museum on Nanjangud Road in Mysuru, opposite Madhuvana and near the Mall of Mysore, that opened in early 2026 and bills itself as India's first cat museum. It was started by Sharath, a local cat lover, and houses more than 20 resident cats of around 13 to 14 breeds, from Persians and Maine Coons to Indian cats, living in home-like rooms and catios with shelves, scratching posts and bridges. Exhibits, art and sculptures cover cat breeds, behaviour, nutrition, grooming and vaccination, with an emphasis on responsible pet ownership. Visitors buy an entry ticket, and short supervised petting sessions run in the late afternoon and evening for an extra fee, kept brief so the cats are not stressed. The cats are not sold. It is open every day.
