Cat Cafe MOCHA AEON Mall Higashikurume is a branch of the MOCHA cat cafe chain on the third floor of AEON Mall Higashikurume in Minamisawa 5-chome, Higashikurume; the nearest stations are Hibarigaoka and Higashikurume on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. About 14 pedigree cats live here, including Scottish Folds, a Selkirk Rex, a Minuet and a Ragdoll. They are fed at 10:30 AM and 7 PM, and no reservations are taken. Visits are charged per 10 minutes, ¥297 on weekdays and ¥363 at weekends and on holidays, with a daily cap of ¥3,960 or ¥4,290 (tax included), and drinks are included. There is no age limit and children aged 3 and under enter free; children below junior-high age must come with a guardian, up to three per adult. It is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM (last entry 7:30 PM). Wi-Fi, chargers and manga are available, outside drinks are allowed but outside food is not, and treats can be bought for the cats; visitors are asked not to chase the cats or use flash.
