Cat Cafes in Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Hattiesburg, Mississippi

The Cattiesburg Cat Cafe is the city's first cat cafe, offering a delightful blend of feline companionship and self-service treats. Partnered with the Pretty Pittie Committee, this cozy spot features a lounge filled with adoptable cats, each spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for their forever homes, alongside a separate area for guests to enjoy pre-packaged snacks and drinks. The cafe welcomes walk-ins without appointments, charging a modest fee to spend time in the cat room, where visitors can bond with playful kitties like Dash or sassy companions ready for adoption. Founded by Nicole Legg and veterinarian Brenda Sumrall, Cattiesburg fosters a calm, community-driven atmosphere, encouraging gentle interaction with the cats while supporting local rescue efforts through donations and events like "Purrfectly Crafted Hearts." More than just a cafe, it's a sanctuary celebrating sustainable adoption and the joy of feline friendship.
