Mačje tačke
Maribor, Drava
Mačje tačke is a cat café run by Društvo ljubiteljev mačjih tačk, a cat lovers' association, in a house on Zagata Street south of the Drava in Maribor, next to a railway line. It opened in November 2024. About fifteen cats live there, some of them born in the house, along with kittens at times, and the rooms are shared with bearded dragons, tortoises, parrots, fish and silkie chickens; there is also a fenced garden. Visits are booked in advance in one-hour slots with a limited number of guests, and the entry fee includes homemade juices, coffee, tea, water and seasonal fruit. Children pay a reduced fee, and children under four are not admitted. Kittens may be played with gently but not picked up, and photos are taken without flash. Proceeds support the association's work for cats.
